Sanjhi Soch buero :Virat Kohli’s plan of including three spinners seemed to be working as the Indian bowlers picked six wickets in 30 overs on the first Day of Motera Test. The red soil pitch is helping the spinners. It’s dry, but the pitch has a lot of pace and bounce, so it is difficult for batsmen to stay in the crease to play even defensive shots.

Right after Tea, Ashwin came on to bowl to an England side which was already in some trouble. England’s score was 81-4 when the off-spinner bamboozled Ollie Pope. Ashwin bowled three off-spinners in the over and Pope was waiting for the fourth ball to turn the same way, but intelligently, Ashwin rolled his fingers and bowled a straighter one, which conned the batsman.

Sanjhi Soch buero :The 35-year old batsman has posted a video on Instagram that is going viral. In the video, he is seen following the trend #PawriHoRahiHai. He is with his Delhi team-mates in what looks like a bedroom and a bunch of cricketers are also seen in the video along with Shikhar Dhawan. In the video, Dhawan and his friends are seen dancing and enjoying.

Shikhar Dhawan is an avid social media user. His recent shirt-less posts were the talk of the town. He has also been spotted hanging out with Bollywood celebs like Parineeti Chopra and Akshay Kumar.

Here is the video posted by Dhawan on his Instagram account:

Shikhar Dhawan last played an international game in December 2020 against Australia in Australia. He was also playing in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy for Delhi. Dhawan’s form has not been quite remarkable in the recent past, but the explosive batsman has the tendency of bouncing back and coming back to form.

Currently, Shikhar is with the Delhi team playing in the Vijay Hazare Trophy and in the virla video, he is seen hanging out with his Delhi boys.

India bundled out England for 112 in the first innings of the third Test match. Virat Kohli’s decision to play three spinners turns out dead right.

Sanjhi Soch buero :India vs England 3rd Test at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad looks pretty one-sided on Day 1. Only the second Pink-ball Test match on Indian soil, this match was expected to favor the fast-bowlers. Although, the pitch had other plans. Indian team bundled out the English batsmen for just 112 runs. India managed to pick four wickets in the first session. The spin-duo of Ashwin and Axar were the pick of the Indian bowlers.

Ishant Sharma picked the first wicket of the match in the third over. After a steady partnership of 47 runs for the third wicket, Joe Root got and who was quickly followed by Zack Crawley. The first session ended with England’s score at 80-4.

Trouble didn’t end for the English batsmen there, they lost another four wickets for just 18 runs. England score then was 98-8. Broad and Foakes had a nine over long partnership but only managed to increase the score by seven runs. Broad got out to an inviting delivery by Axar Patel to grant him his fifth wicket. The local boy from Anand near Ahmedabad, Axar Patel was fabulous on the day. Three out of the six wickets picked by Axar were LBW dismissals.

India would love to capitalize on the start they have got and take a big lead in the first innings. It won’t be surprising if the match ends before five days of the Test match. Earlier, the Sardar Patel Stadium was re-named as Narendra Modi Stadium.

IND Vs ENG Day 1 Highlights: India trail by 13 runs in the third Test match against England. After bundling out England for 112 runs, Rohit Sharma rose up to the occasion. Read the full day report here.

Sanjhi Soch buero :India vs England 3rd Test is tilting majorly in favor of India after the end of Day 1. Rohit Sharma held the fort going into the night before Indian spinners won the first two sessions of the day. Visitors were bowled out for a meagre total of 112 as England’s poor form with the bat continued.

The day began with the inauguration of the new stadium in the presence of Home Minister Amit Shah and the President of India, Ramnath Kovind.

At the beginning of the day, England won the toss and decided to bat first. Even Kohli admitted that he would have chosen to bat first.

In the first session itself, India picked up four wickets. Ishant Sharma picked the first wicket playing in his 100th Test match in the third over of the match. That was the only wicket picked up by any of the Indian fast bowlers.

The red soil pitch looked dry in the morning and it appeared as if the cover of grass would help the seamers more, but it turned out, it was clearly favouring the spinners.

Axar Patel picked up six wickets while Ashwin got rid of three English batsmen. Both spinners picked up nine wickets between them. The top scorer for England was Zack Crawley who scored 53 runs opening the batting for England. Special mention must be given to Virat Kohli and his decision to play three spinners when the conditions looked conducive for the pacers.

India’s innings began slowly, but steadily. Shubhman Gill played one aggressive shot, too many before getting caught at a score of 11. Pujara got out for a duck but then, Kohli and Rohit put up a 50+ run partnership.

When things looked smooth for India, Virat Kohli got out just at the stroke of Day 1 in the last over. India’s score was 99-3 at Stumps on Day 1. India still trail by 13 runs in the first innings of the third Test match.

A Virat Kohli fan stole the show as he breached security at Motera and entered the field-of-play in a bid to get near his idol. He was caught and the game was halted for 1 minute

India vs England: Sanjhi Soch buero :Thrilled to watch Captain Virat Kohli bat against England, an ardent supporter ran towards Kohli midway into the pitch during the first day of the third Test match between India and England being played at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. However, knowing about the constraints amid Covid 19, Virat Kohli stepped away.

The Indian skipper spotted him from far away and he immediately took a few steps back, asking the fan to return. The fan realized his mistake soon and turned back. He was escorted by officials and the game was halted for 1 minute. Seeing this incident the entire crowd started cheering. As part of the bio-bubble protocols, there is a high amount of strictness and the players and match officials are not allowed to meet anybody.

When ANI contacted a GCA official about the fan breaching the protocols, he replied: “We will look into the matter and we will find out who the fan was. Some sort of action will be taken as the matter is serious and the safety of everyone is of utmost importance.”

India vs England third Test is tilted majorly in favor of India after the end of Day 1. Rohit Sharma held the fort going into the night before Indian spinners won the first two sessions of the day. Visitors were bowled out for a meager total of 112 as England’s poor form with the bat continued.

Meanwhile, Indian skipper Virat Kohli is worried that the lights at the Narendra Modi Stadium here could potentially impact visibility and said the players will need to adapt quickly. The refurbished stadium, the largest cricketing arena in the world, doesn’t have the traditional floodlight towers but a ring of LED lights around the perimeter of its roof.

It is similar to the ”ring of fire” at the Dubai International Stadium, which often poses a challenge to the fielding side. “It is such an exciting atmosphere here at the largest cricket stadium. I’m a bit more worried about the lights than the colour of the seats,” Kohli said at the toss ahead of the day/night Test against England.

And now she’ll face good pal Jennifer Brady in an all-U.S. matchup with a berth in the final four at stake.

Its an opportunity for both of us Pegula said, recalling that she and Brady became close after playing doubles together for the United States in the competition now known as the Billie Jean King Cup. Im just happy Im here. Shes been playing some good tennis, solidifying herself as a top player.

When the 61st-ranked Pegula, whose parents own Buffalo’s NFL and NHL franchises, finished beating No. 5 seed Elina Svitolina of Ukraine 6-4, 3-6, 6-3 in Rod Laver Arena on Monday (Sunday night EST), she scribbled a message on the screen of a courtside television camera: hi mom, hi dad, see you next rd Jen B.

And after the 22nd-seeded Brady, a 25-year-old from Pennsylvania who played college tennis at UCLA, got off to a perfect start by grabbing the initial five games en route to a 6-1, 7-5 victory over No. 28 Donna Vekic of Croatia, she used a blue marker to respond in kind, writing: Bring it Jess!

Pegula is on quite a breakthrough run.

Witt said Pegula’s rising confidence is a big part of her progress. She found a sort of kinship with her family’s football team, the Bills, who made the playoffs three of the past four seasons behind quarterback Josh Allen after going nearly two decades without a trip to the postseason.

Even last year, when he wasnt playing that well, I was like, I like this kid. I loved his competitive spirit. He was a gamer. He just wanted to win. Thats something you love to see, she said about Allen. Its definitely something I think I tried to take into my game a little bit, even watching the team getting that grit, that competitive attitude, having that mindset in tennis, its like 90%, sometimes, of the matches. I think its been really cool to watch them and kind of channel that energy into how Ive been doing.

National 100m record holders in the men’s and women’s categories, Amiya Kumar Mallick and Dutee Chand, respectively, have confirmed their participation in the season-opening track competition.

Sanjhi Soch buero :The 2018 Asian Games 800m champion, Manjeet Singh of Haryana, and 400m national record holder Muhammed Anas are among several leading athletes who are set to skip the upcoming first Indian Grand Prix scheduled to be held at Patiala’s National Institute of Sports (NIS). Response to the other events of the competition is also not encouraging, said sources.

However, national 100m record holders in the men’s and women’s categories, Amiya Kumar Mallick and Dutee Chand, respectively, have confirmed their participation in the season-opening track competition

“I’m treating the competition as a warmup race for the Federation Cup to be held next month. I will see how my body reacts to the race as I’m racing after a long gap due to the pandemic and then prepare for the competition next month,” Mallick told IANS.

Competition in the men’s category will be held in 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 5,000m, 400n hurdles, long jump, triple jump, and shot put. And women will compete in four track races –100m, 200m, 400m, 800m — and three field events — long jump, shot put and discus throw.

Since the response to the inaugural Indian Grand Prix is poor, there will be direct finals, said a source. In the men’s 400m, Anas is a notable absentee. Even Rajiv Arokia, the second-best quarter-miler in the country, isn’t competing. There are eight entries in the 400m while seven athletes will contest the 800m race.

The national record holder in men’s long jump, Murali Sreeshankar, is also missing from the entry list.

Sanjhi Soch buero :Tokyo Olympic organisers could choose their new president as early as this week, a report said on Monday, after former chief Yoshiro Mori resigned over sexist remarks that provoked a global outcry.

Local organisers need to “urgently” pick a new president with just five months left to prepare for the Games amid the COVID-19 pandemic and are setting up a selection committee made up of an equal number of men and women, the group’s chief executive Toshiro Muto said last weekThe selection committee will hold its first meeting at the start of this week, Nippon TV reported, citing unidentified sources. Committee members will submit names of candidates in the days after and could select the new president as soon as this week, the report said.

However, the process could carry over into next week if there is a large number of candidates, Nippon TV said.

The Summer Olympics, which were postponed last year due to the pandemic, are scheduled to open July 23.

A win for the Islanders will boost their chances of finishing on top of the league standings. Meanwhile, Bengaluru will need a win to keep their outside chance of a top-four finish alive.

Sanjhi Soch buero :Mumbai City FC were the first to seal their berth in the play-offs of the Indian Super League but they can ill-afford to be complacent when they take on a struggling Bengaluru FC here on Monday. Mumbai City and ATK Mohun Bagan have already qualified for the play-offs but there is another prize at stake also. The team which lifts the ISL League Winners Shield by topping the league stage points standings will get an automatic berth in the group stage of the prestigious AFC Champions League.

Mumbai City have been in pole position for the most part of the season. However, their recent form has seen them drop crucial points and has put their top spot at risk. The Islanders’ last four games have seen their worst statistics this season. They have failed to keep a single clean sheet in those games and have conceded seven goals, compared to just four conceded in the previous 12 games. Head coach Sergio Lobera is aware his side cannot have any more slip-ups as they eye an AFC Champions League spot. The Spaniard is also aware of the potential threat his side faces against BFC.

“Every game is difficult and playing with BFC is difficult because they are a team of very good players. They have motivation after the arrival of the new coach. It’s difficult but we can with this, said Lobera. I think we are in a very good situation because we have done a good job before and it’s always possible to improve and learn from our mistakes. I am proud of the attitude of the players. My team is ambitious and with this attitude, I am very positive for the coming games.

Mumbai City star Hugo Boumous will miss the encounter due to suspension and his absence will be a blow for the side. The Frenchman has contributed nine goals and created 38 chances for his side. For Bengaluru FC, it is a must-win situation if they are to keep their play-off hopes alive. However, their track record against Mumbai City isn’t great. BFC have lost on four occasions and drawn one in five outings.

Of late, the top four teams have been dropping points, which has thrown open the race for the third and fourth play-offs spots. However, Bengaluru interim coach Naushad Moosa believes that they have to take it one match at a time. The results are going in everybody’s favor not only ours. It’s important we stay focused. Our defense been a concern but we are working on us, he said. We have three games. We have to stay positive and play good football and try and get the three points, he added.
