Children’s Day and Peace & Harmony Day were celebrated at the Washington Times Church with a gathering that brought together people from diverse communities. The event featured religious singing and a message of peace, resonating with attendees. A cake-cutting ceremony led by children symbolized the day’s spirit of unity and joy, with a large audience watching the celebration in a serene and supportive atmosphere.

Dr. Surinder Singh Gill represented the Sikh community at the event, joined by Dr. Jenkins Michael, President of the Universal Peace Federation (UPF), and Tomico Duggan, UPF Vice President. In his address, Dr. Jenkins shared a message of peace, praying for the incoming president to work for the welfare of America and its people. His remarks emphasized the importance of leadership committed to the nation’s well-being, encouraging unity and positive change for all.

Religious leaders of various communities attended the function with true spirit of Almighty that god is one and all are their children.
