Film highlights Khalsa College Amritsar’s Heritage building a combination of Mughal, Sikh and Victorian Architecture is directed by Punjab eminent Heritage Promoter & Nature Artist Harpreet Sandhu.

A meaningful film titled, “A Unique Style of Indo – Sarcenic Building – Khalsa College Amritsar” prepared by Punjab’s eminent Heritage Promoter & Nature Artist with aim to highlight Heritage Marvel of India – Khalsa College Amritsar was released in Amritsar.
Today Special Premier Show was also held at the Khalsa College, Amritsar being International Museum Day graced by Garish Bali, IRS, Commissioner Income Tax, Sandeep Rishi, IAS (Commissioner Corporation, Amritsar), S. Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina, Honrary Secretary, Khalsa College Charitable Society, Amritsar along with Joginder Singh, IRS (Addl. Commissioner Customs, Amritsar), Surinder Singh, IAS, Addl. Deputy Commissioner, Amritsar, Navneet Kaushal, IRS (Jt. Commissioner, Customs, Amritsar), Atul Tirkey, IRS (Deputy Commissioner, Customs), Dr. Mehal Singh Principal Khalsa College Amritsar released the Film titled, “A Unique Style of Indo – Sarcenic Building – Khalsa College Amritsar” and a unique Pictorial Brochure depicting the Heritage Building. The Film portrays on screen the magnificent glimpse of Khalsa College Building showcasing combination of Mughal, Sikh and Victorian Architecture with imposing domed Red Sand stone façade and highlights the contribution of world famous Architect Bhai Ram Singh, the then Principal Mayo College of Arts, Lahore who designed this Heritage Gem of India.
Sandeep Rishi, IAS (Commissioner Corporation, Amritsar) after previewing the film described the documentary to be of immense interest not only for people of Punjab but across the world for those who have interest in Punjab’s rich Heritage. He further applauded the efforts of Nature Artist Harpreet Sandhu for coming up with this informative documentary highlighting the magnificent Gem of the Indo – Sarcenic Style Building having glorious History of 126 years serving as harbinger of Education and an academic landmark on the Land of Punjab.
Dr. Mehal Singh Principal & the Faculty members of Khalsa College Amritsar acknowledged Harpreet Sandhu for his dedicated efforts towards directing a wonderful Film “A Unique Style of Indo – Sarcenic Building – Khalsa College Amritsar” which portrays the three dimensional preview of the Heritage Marvel – Khalsa College which is one of the oldest Educational Institution of Punjab. Principal Khalsa College said that this film gives a befitting message for the society that history can only be kept alive if we preserve our historical monuments, which are the glue that bind one generation with another.
Joginder Singh, IRS (Addl. Commissioner Customs, Amritsar) described the Documentary film “A Unique Style of Indo – Sarcenic Building – Khalsa College Amritsar” to be a remarkable contribution by Harpreet Sandhu for portraying this Heritage building of Khalsa College which is a combination of Mughal, Sikh and Victorian Architecture.
Film maker Harpreet Sandhu stated that it took him almost one year for completing the shoot for this Documentary film “A Unique Style of Indo – Sarcenic Building which he has compiled with sole aim to highlight this Heritage status Building of Khalsa College Amritsar being the one and only one Historic monument showcasing 126 years of serving as harbinger of education and an academic landmark on land of Punjab, built in traditional Indian and Mughal Architecture, having symbols of repositories of our Nation’s Heritage.
